Welcome to my website.  Obviously this, like me, is a work in progress.  Check back after this current television season wraps to see if I've managed to get a working site up.

I am a writer, liberal agitator, mother, and condiment lover who lives in Tacoma, Washington.  I was born and raised in the Bay Area (see "liberal agitator"), but migrated to Washington in the early Nineties to form my own Grunge band, The Total Mustard Whores.  Okay, that's a lie, but it sounds cool, doesn't it?

I am a playwright, essayist and novelist.  My plays have been performed in San Francisco, Seattle and New York.  My first piece was JACK TAKES IT BACK, a play for children written for the Tony-award-winning San Francisco Mime Troupe.  My last two plays, WEEKEND AT THE BANGKOK CHRISTIAN GUESTHOUSE and THE VESTAL VIRGINS, were selected by a juried panel for staged readings at ACT Theater in Seattle for the first two years of the FringeACT Festival of New, Original Work.

For eight years, I worked with Theatre Babylon in Seattle where my plays OH, CABBIE, ALL ACTS OF LOVE AND PLEASURE, BURP SIDE STORY, and I, BOHEMIA were produced.

My novel THE SEVEN VEILS OF MUFFIN VALDEZ, of the genre "Chick Lit for Women Who Don't Shave Their Legs" is currently being shopped to publishers by my lovely hard-working agent, Jennifer DeChiara.  I am currently working on a new book, THE THIRTEENTH CHARM or THE CHARM BRACELET.

Read my blog at Condiment Grrl.

Remember, it's all in the dipping sauce.
